I definitely don't think that we should send students into space for quite a few reasons. First of all, if something goes wrong, such as what happened in Challenger, most kids wouldn't know how to react because it seams that adults are more composed. Like even when something goes wrong on your everyday basis, kids would just fall apart, where as adults usually know the right thing to do every time. Another reason is that kids haven't live as long and haven't got the chance to enjoy some of the worlds greatest things. But adults have definitely had the chance if they haven't already, to enjoy those things. Lastly, kids haven't developed completely like adults have, and the pressure changes and the g forces may have a long term effect on us. So all in all, i definitely don't think that a student should go into space.

If Nasa was recruiting students to be the first kid in space, i would defiantly apply. First because it would be so cool to go up in space and have no gravity to keep you on the ground, you could just float around. Second because i think that i would be great for the job because i am a quick learner and could learn all the things that you would have to do. Also because i am a determined worker and wont stop until the job is done. Lastly i would be good for the job because i am great under pressure and can work with all that pressure going on, and i also know how to deal with problems that could be life threatening. Another reason i would like to go up in space is that i am in very good shape because of all the sports i play and all astronauts need to be in great shape. Although i am only 12, i think that i would be a great person to be the first student in space.
